Now Hiring - Sales Support/Administrative Assistant in Wheeling, IL

Handi-foil Corp., the market leader in the manufacture, sale, marketing and distribution of disposable aluminum bake-ware, has an immediate opening for a Sales Support/Administrative Assistant to support our sales management team at our corporate headquarters in Wheeling, IL. This dynamic privately held company has been in business for 40 years and continues to experience strong growth year after year. Position Overview:

This highly visible position provides administrative support for the sales efforts of the company. As part of an experienced team of administrative associates, this position has the following responsibilities:

• Management and coordination of all the administrative tasks necessary to support the go-to-market strategies and challenges of our Sales Department
• Direct assignment to one or more Sales Managers; supporting their needs in servicing our customers
• Attending and offering administrative support during in-town Sales Shows
• Preparing product price quotes for customers
• Preparing sales reports as needed using system generated reporting and Excel-based formats
• Prepare correspondence for Sales Managers, addressed to customers, manufacturer’s representatives and sales brokers
• Responding to customer inquiries and requests
• Processing Product Sample Orders - enter sample orders in system, perform quality checks and facilitate shipment/fulfillment
• Coordinate travel plans of sales managers.
• Coordinate Sales Shows, including manager schedules, travel and entertainment scheduling.
• Prepare expense reports for assigned Sales Managers.

Requirements:

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in an administrative support role. Prefer experience working within a sales department.
• Bachelor’s Degree or professional experience equivalent.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Excel spreadsheets; knowledge using intermediate to advanced Excel features.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills essential.
• Well organized, with strong multi-tasking skills-set.

• Strong customer service orientation.
• The ability to work independently is a must.
